Atrium Health
The Atrium Health's (formerly Carolinas Rehabilitation) Brain Injury program offers inpatient and outpatient therapy programs. Inpatient participants receive up to four and a half hours of therapy per day. Patients work on relearning tasks of daily living, with the goal of returning to the community. The outpatient program meets five days a week and focuses on individual and group therapy to help integrate individuals back into school, work and the community.

Brain Injury Association of North Carolina
Founded in 1982, the Brain Injury Association of NCv (BIANC) is an affiliate of the Brain Injury Association of America. BIANC's mission is to offer help, resources, and advocacy for people with brain injuries and their families. Headquartered in Raleigh, the Association and also runs Family and Community Support Centers in Asheville, Greenville, and Charlotte, as well as a volunteer resource center in High Point. BIANC supports more than 40 local support groups across the state.

Carolinas Traumatic Brain Injury Rehabilitation and Research System
The Carolinas Traumatic Brain Injury Rehabilitation and Research System (CTBIRRS) is one of only 16 National Traumatic Brain Injury "Model System" sites. Carolinas Rehabilitation operates CTBIRRS through federal grant funding provided by the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (U.S. Department of Education). The CTBIRRS program's goal is to conduct research targeted towards improving the outcomes of traumatic brain injuries (TBI). As part of this project, data is collected to learn more about the lives of those with TBI and their caregivers.

Catawba Valley Medical Center

Learning Services - Raleigh Program
Learning Services's programs provide support for adults with brain injuries. Services include: supported living, residential rehabilitation, therapeutic day activities, and neurobehavioral rehabilitation. Located in east Raleigh, this twelve-bed program offers access to Wake Med Rehabilitation Hospital, North Carolina State University, and greater downtown Raleigh. Learning Services Neurobehavioral Institute – East
The Learning Services Neurobehavioral Institute – East (LSNI-East) is located in suburban Raleigh, near the small town of Creedmoor, North Carolina. The thirty-three acre campus setting provides a continuum of medical, behavioral and therapeutic care to facilitate the treatment of complex and challenging behavioral symptoms accompanying acquired brain injury. This 22 bed, therapeutic community offering private rooms in three residences is designed to provide an integrated approach to neurobehavioral rehabilitation.

Levine Children's Hospital Pediatric Rehabilitation Pavilion
The Children's Rehabilitation Pavilion houses an inpatient pediatric rehabilitation services and is located on the fourth floor of Levine Children's Hospital. The Pavilion offers 24-hour rehabilitation nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, recreational therapy and cognitive education for children recovering from serious injuries or illnesses.

Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital Rehabilitation Center
The Moses Cone Health System Rehabilitation Center provides inpatient brain injury rehabilitation services. A rehabilitation team works with patients and families to create a personal treatment plan, with the goal of returning to home and the community. The Rehab Center "apartment" provides an opportunity for patients and families to practice skills in a home-like setting. Community outings provide an opportunity to practice skills outside the hospital. Family conferences are encouraged and are scheduled as needed or upon request.

ReNu Life Extended, Inc.
ReNu Life provides several services for survivors of TBI, including an assisted living facility and group homes. There are also rehabilitation and mental health services. Vidant Medical Center
Vidant Medical Center’s Inpatient Brain Injury Program is a 12-bed unit dedicated to the rehabilitation of patients with brain injury.
